Rss and atom failing

Posted by thevaw

For some strange reason rss for posts and comments and the atom version does not update if I post from web admin interface. I’m now posing using a client editor and things goes fine. Now comes the search for the perfect one. The ones I’ve been using does not put the markup to textile so I have then to edit the post using the web interface and correct it. I hope I’ll find a solution.

Update: The bug of agregation files not updating is solved so I just aplied the patch an seems to work fine.

Page finally public

Now page is uploaded. The hard part that is left is writting something intersesting (and hopefully without too bad english).

I planned to write about demoscene (follow pouet link) and ruby programming, perhaps doing demo programming with ruby :) Lets see if I work enough to write something here, and if anyone reads this.

Testing marsedit posting

Posted by thevaw

I’m just testing to post using a client program. This is marsedit, the first I try. Seems to work fine but I’ve just started using it. What I do not like is that is very html oriented and there’s no previsualization for textile. But it’s the first one, lots more to try!

Update: Editing also works after applying a patch!!

Very first post!!

I have to fill this space somehow. Here’s what I’m doing right now.

I just have downloaded typo and I’m in the process of configuring it. Sqlite libraries are installed but not without some tricks. Sqlite itself and sqlite bindings for ruby come with ports (using MacOSX) but I want to use them from my hand compiled installation. Fortunately I just had to copy sqlite binding files to my compiled library path.

Head colour is also changed to fit me better, an ugly green, but you are not suposed to look to much at it, better read this posts!!

I’m now heading to apply some patches I’ve found to fix some bugs related with marsedit editing.

Back to work!
